Capturing the beauty and complexity of Australian marine ecosystems through scientific illustration and artistic expression.
I'm a marine artist and biologist with a deep passion for bringing the beauty and complexity of Australia's marine life to life through art. With a background in marine biology, my work sits at the intersection of science and creativity — aiming to make the underwater world not just accessible, but emotionally resonant.
Based in Perth, Western Australia, I’m constantly inspired by the rich biodiversity of our coral reefs, coastal ecosystems, and the incredible marine species that call them home. My style blends traditional illustration with modern digital techniques to create pieces that are both visually striking and scientifically accurate, all with the goal of sparking curiosity, awareness, and care for our oceans.
Right now, I’m focused on documenting the fragile beauty of marine environments that are under growing pressure from human activity. Through ongoing projects, I’m aiming to build emotional connections between audiences and these vulnerable ecosystems, in the hope that understanding leads to action. My earlier work explored broader themes around our connection with nature, but my studies in marine science have led me to zero in on oceanic environments and the unique species within them — a space where I’ve truly found my calling.
